Sharing your story can change lives!

Every person has a story, and every story has the power to inspire.

The power of your story may motivate someone to finally seek therapy or substance use treatment. It might encourage another to donate, so that everyone has access to care.

Who will you inspire today?

Dena’s story:
In recovery and happy!

After years of struggling with opioid use, Dena made a life-changing decision: She started substance use treatment at Columbia River Mental Health Services’ NorthStar facility. Within weeks, Dena freed herself of opioid use.

She was so grateful to the wonderful people at NorthStar that she asked to share her story with the world. Her story of addiction and recovery – of winning back her family and her life – has inspired thousands since she first told it in 2022 during a Columbia River fundraiser. Her friends and family have told her how proud they are of her courageous struggle to overcome opioid use.

Your story can have the same powerful result!
